She was under the care of her family and Aspen Home Health & Hospice. LaReine was born July 14, 1917, in Clifton, Idaho, to Franklin Joynes Marler and Janey Norcissis Taylor Marler. She grew up and attended schools in Clifton, where she graduated high school. As a girl she rode horses, learned to be a good cook and seamstress, and became known for sewing, her raspberries, dill pickles, and chokecherry jelly. On April 7, 1935, she married Andrew Lloyd Feltman at Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They had two children, Frances Lloyd "Buddy," and Tyra Lynn. Lloyd and LaReine made their home in Idaho Falls, where they operated Lloyd's Airport Service Station from 1938-1974. During World War II, she worked at a California Packing Plant sorting peas, as well as pumping gas at her husband's station while he was in the Navy. She later worked at Fabric Lane, and retired as a bus dispatcher for INL. Lloyd passed away February 7, 1994. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in Sunday School, Primary, MIA, Relief Society and in the Idaho Falls Temple. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Temple Camp. Always active, she belonged to a sewing club, a flower gardening club, a bowling league, and bridge club. She and Lloyd volunteered for RSVP for many years. A favorite interest was painting and she was an accomplished painter. She joined the Idaho Falls Art Guild in 1968 and attended workshops taught by locally and nationally known artists. She’s been a lifetime member of what is now the Eagle Rock Art Guild, and served in several offices, including president, in 1974-1975. LaReine enjoyed oils, watercolors, and acrylics. She’s been a featured artist and displayed paintings at many shows. LaReine gave weekly painting lessons to friends and nieces for a number of years. As a featured artist, one year she was quoted as saying, "I love the mountains, streams, oceans and flowers - all of God's creations. I would like to paint them all - and I'm always striving to get that special exquisite spark in my paintings. It is an never-ending process but a good way for relaxing and forgetting all the problems of the world for a little while." Favorite trips included yearly Yellowstone Park trips, starting before they had boardwalks; Jackson Hole art museums, shopping in Salt Lake City, and time on the beaches in California and Oregon, visiting her husband's brother, Rex Feltman and family in Sacramento, Calif. LaReine is survived by her son, Buddy (Pam) Feltman of Manta, Ecuador, daughter, Tyra Feltman of Idaho Falls, ID. Three granddaughters, Tiffany Paige (Sacramento, CA); Shelby (Matt) Hummel (Redding, PA) and Miley Feltman (Park City, UT); four great grandchildren, Niko, Olivia, Matti, and Joshua Hummel, all of Pennsylvania; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, all whom she loved very much. Special thanks to her nephew, Frank Price, for his help throughout the years and niece, Kandy Thomas, for her love and care. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, six siblings, Dwain Marler, Dolora Price, Adell Marler, Donna Belle Marler, two twin infant sisters, Bernice and Beatrice, two nephews, Kip and Kori Marler, and one niece, Connie Feltman.
