Lance Weaver Madsen - 06/22/2002 Lance Weaver Madsen - 06/22/2002 LANCE W. MADSEN IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Lance Weaver Madsen, 71, of Idaho Falls, died June 21, 2002, at his home. He was born November 19, 1930 in Rigby, Idaho to Arnel Delroy Madsen and Sarah Lucile Weaver. He attended primary and Jr. High schools in Rigby and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict. He married Loretta Joy Simpson October 31, 1953 in Idaho Falls. She preceded him in death December 15, 1992. He started out working for Albertsons in 1948. He worked for the INEEL for 44 years as a Fuel Handling Foreman at CPP 603 in FAST-FSA. He loved the outdoors and being with his family. Surviving are:Daughter: Marla Rae Packer, Rigby, IDDaughter: Diane Madsen, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Toni Jean Crockett, Idaho Falls, IDBrother: Kay Madsen, Salt Lake City, UTSister: Wilma Pence, Ashton, ID4 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother, Gayle. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2002, at Fielding Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
