MONT RUMBLE
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- LaMonte Harry“Mont” Rumble, age 83, died, February 24, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 14, 1925, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Harry G. Rumble and Cora Cecelia Lim Rumble. He attended elementary school in Pocatello. He joined the U. S. Army and served during World War II.
He married June Jorgensen in October, 1945. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They had two sons.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked his entire life in wholesale grocery warehousing.
He is survived by
his wife, June, of Idaho Falls;
Son: Bob LaMont (Shawne) Rumble of Idaho Falls;
Son: Douglas Lynn Rumble of Idaho Falls;
5 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Darwin, and two sisters, Geraldine Ridley and Zelma Evans.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at the Ammon LDS 25th Ward, 2055 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 12 to 12:45 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
