Kory Steven Loveland

Kory Steven Loveland, 45, of Otsego, Minnesota, formerly of Burley, Idaho, passed away March 11, 2022, in Rexburg, Idaho.

Kory was born December 7, 1976, in Burley, Idaho, to Gregory C. Loveland and Laurie Flowers Loveland. He grew up and attended schools in Burley and Salt Lake City and graduated from Robert Janss High School.

On October 4, 2009, he married Wendi Kaye Wecker in Anoka, Minnesota. Kory and Wendi made their home in Otsego, Minnesota, where Kory worked as a Machine Operator for Fabrico Metal Inc. and was a freelance handy man.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, anything outdoors, the Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids and his three dogs, Diesel, Piglet, and Lucy.

Kory is survived by his wife, Wendi Loveland of Otsego, MN; daughters, Victoria (Josue) Espinosa of Mitchell, SD and Christy Loveland of Meridian, ID; father, Greg Loveland of Idaho Falls; mother, Laurie (Bill) Dent of Idaho Falls; sister, Tosha Wilson of Idaho Falls; sister, Kellie Keeler of Idaho Falls; brother, Kyle (Amanda) Loveland of Idaho Falls; brother, Trevor Loveland of Idaho Falls; brother, Brock Loveland of Idaho Falls; sister, Reanna Loveland of Twin Falls, ID; brother, Jesse Dent of Houston, TX; sister, Stephanie (Mark) Bryant of Vancouver, WA; sister, Linda Dent of Las Vegas, NV; parents-in-law, Peggy and Dave Wecker of Blaine, MN; grandparents, Glen and Lois Loveland of Heyburn, ID; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Emma Flowers.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services.
