Kirk Bruce Guidinger

It is with heavy hearts to announce the passing of Kirk Bruce Guidinger, 59, of Idaho Falls. He passed away August 8, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Kirk was an amazing person with a heart of gold. He was funny and would do anything for someone if he could.

Kirk was born April 12, 1966, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Orvil Bruce Guidinger and Robin Davidson Guidinger. He was their only child.

His mom later married Dale Jensen. He was a Fish and Game Warden in the Challis, Stanley, and Salmon area.

Kirk spent years at their family cabin in Stanley, hiking, hunting, and fishing. That was some of his fondest memories. Kirk would later marry Dori Patten. They had two children, Chet Guidinger and Tara Guidinger Lott. They later divorced.

Kirk later married Robin Kay Sutton. He went on to start his own business, KG Custom Stain Grade. No one could do the quality of work he did.

Kirk will be sorely missed by his wife of 21 years; and all his fur babies; and all the other countless people who knew him.

Kirk is survived in death by his wife, Robin Kay Guidinger; his mother, Robin Jensen; his sisters, Nanette Adams, Colette Cohan, and Michele Sandberg; his nieces and nephews, Arialle Cohon, Breann Vandenberg, Kelsay Sandberg, Tierenie Fry, Chanice Adams, Ashley Adams Slater, Lander Cohen, Brandi Cary, DeLanee Deighton, Everett Deighton; and 8 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Orvil Bruce Guidinger; his step-father, Dale Jensen; and brother, David Jensen.
