Kirk Leonard Cummings

Kirk Leonard Cummings, 44, of Salmon, Idaho, passed away April 5, 2020, near his home. Kirk was born December 20, 1975, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Rody A. Cummings Sr. and Vicki Bench.  He grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School. He was blessed with three sons: Asher, Gage, and Jamison.  Kirk moved around a lot and enjoyed seeing so many different places.  He truly was a man of many talents and had an amazing ability to work with his hands and could fix just about anything mechanical. Kirk enjoyed playing guitar, hiking and camping, going into the desert and exploring, go shooting, and antiquing with his dad.  He was known for his humor, love for his boys, and for always saying how proud he was of his boys. Kirk is survived by his sons, Asher Cummings and Gage Cummings of Taylorsville Ut., and Jamison Cummings of Pocatello Idaho; brother, Rody A (Heather) Cummings, Jr. of Boise, I; father, Rody (Jonell) Cummings, Sr. of Blackfoot, ID; mother, Vicki (Ned) Bench of Burley, ID; sisters, Cindy (Brent) Young and Annie Lilya, both of Burley, ID, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by Rody J. Cummings and many loving Grandparents,  Aunts, and Uncles. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2020, at the Chesterfield Cemetery.
