Kim Diane Davis, 50, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 9, 2011, at her home of natural causes. Kim was born February 29, 1960, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to John Davis and Marcia Jernberg Davis. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, including Idaho Falls High School and Skyline High School. She was a lifelong resident of Southeast Idaho, spending the majority of her life in Idaho Falls. Kim was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed various types of music from rock and roll to contemporary Christian pop. She enjoyed photography, taking pictures in her youth and collecting various paintings. She loved animals, especially kittens and cats. She had a great love of God and enjoyed sharing her faith with others and studying the Bible from various beliefs, including different translations of the Bible. She had a great love of people, having many friends locally and also having many pen-pals throughout the nation. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her daughter. She loved being a mother and took pride in all her daughter’s accomplishments. She enjoyed her diverse friendships and had great appreciation for all of Gods creations, finding pleasure in the simple things in life and always having an extra smile to share with everyone. Surviving are: Her daughter: Ivy Lynne Davis of Pocatello, ID; her brother: J. Brent Davis of Shelley, ID (Tina); her sister: Brenda K. Davis of Pocatello, ID (Dale Whitworth); and one niece and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. February 19, 2011, at St. John Lutheran Church, 290 7th Street in Idaho Falls with Pastor Jerry Reinke officiating.
