Click Here To View Memorial Video Killian Russell Rigby, 23, formerly of St. Anthony, passed away July 28, 2014, as the result of a construction accident in Afton, Wyoming. The tragedy has left in its wake pain and sorrow for all who knew Killian. Killian was born November 28, 1990, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Jeffery Russell Rigby and Shannon Jill Barrett Rigby. He grew up in St. Anthony and attended schools in Ashton and graduated from Central High School in Rexburg. He was certified as a Phlebotomist. Killian met the love of his life, Sidney Marisa Eckman, in St. Anthony in 2009. Killian worked as a Construction Worker for DePatCo of St. Anthony. He enjoyed the outdoors, small motors, fishing, shooting, camping, hunting, motor bike riding and enjoyed finding a good deal on “old junk.” He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was especially close to his grandmothers. Killian was a good natured and very friendly young man, with an easy going personality that made loving him so easy. He made friends effortlessly and left them with a positive, lasting impression. Killian is survived by his mother, Shannon Jill Rigby of St. Anthony; lifetime love, Sidney Marisa Eckman of Idaho Falls; sister, Maci Lorraine Ker of St. Anthony; step-sister, Rikkie Dawn Martinez of Elko, NV; grandmother, Rene Rigby of Rexburg; grandfather, Sherwin Rigby of Idaho Falls; grandmother, Lorraine Sutton of St. Anthony. cats, Baby and Eenie. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffery Russell Rigby, and grandfathers Jerry Barrett and Kenneth Sutton. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014, at the Egin Bench LDS Ward, 1633 East 400 North, with Ryan Kaufman officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery.
