Click Here To View Memorial Video Kevin Jon Nield, 50, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 24, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center Kevin was born February 7, 1963, in Rigby, Idaho, to Allen Jay Nield and Blanche Marie McMurtrey Nield. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from high school in Santee, California. He worked as a brick mason in several states. On June 25, 1988, he married Leona Joyce Manning in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. Kevin has been with Cecelia Marie Berrey since 1998. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, welding, working on his art, riding his 4-wheeler, and going out to coffee. He was a jack of all trades and master of some. Kevin is survived by his loving companion of 15 years, Cecelia Berrey; son, Tyler Nield of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Stephanie Howland of Gillett, WY; sister, Amy (Mike Wheeler) Wheeler of Rigby, ID; sister, Karen (Russell Bass) Bass of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Terry Livingston of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Barry Nield of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Julie Knowlton of Farmington, NM; brother, Kenny (Lisa Nield) Nield of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Kathy (Doug Halbrook) Halbrook of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Joni (Dave Broussard) Gallagher of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Becky Gardner of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Scott Nield of Idaho Falls, ID; 10 grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Michael Nield, and one grandson, Eric Brady. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Reverend Scott Davis officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm Tuesday, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. prior to services. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
