KEVIN KUNZ
GEORGETOWN, ID - Kevin Harvey Kunz, 53, passed away suddenly August 18, 2005 at his home.
He was born September 19, 1951, in Montpelier, Idaho, to Harvey Kunz and LaRee Kunz. He attended grade school in Georgetown and graduated from Bear Lake High School and the LDS Seminary program in Montpelier. During his school years, he participated in several piano recitals, singing solos and duets, and played basketball and Little League baseball. He enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1968 and served in the Vietnam conflict.
He married Jenny Loertscher Weaver in 1977 and they were later divorced. He worked in construction, as a welder, heavy equipment operator and long haul truck driver.
He was so proud of his family and their accomplishments and loved spending time with his grandchildren, Kevin and Elisia whom he loved very much. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trap shooting with his children, Dad and brothers. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending his time visiting his family and friends. He will be missed dearly.

DeLoy (Stephanie) Kunz, Georgetown, ID
Jody Kunz, Pocatello, ID
Stepchildren: Jennifer Mathews, Jeff Weaver, Janet Hankins, Jason Weaver and Justin Weaver.
2 Grandchildren, 2 Nephews, and 3 Nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Wilford and Althea Hayes & Ruel and Irene Kunz.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2005, at the Georgetown LDS Ward in Georgetown, Idaho with Glen Hunter officiating.
The family will visit with friends two hours prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Military rites will be performed by the Montpelier VFW.

Hi my name is Blake. I work at Sharps. I worked on Kevin's truck and got to know him as a friend. He was a kind and gentle man. He would call me if he was having truck trouble and he was one of the ones that I liked to help. He was a good man and will be missed by all that knew him. Sorry for your loss.
