Kevin E. Empey - 01/22/2002 Kevin E. Empey - 01/22/2002 KEVIN E. EMPEY Kevin Eugine Empey, 28, of Ammon, died January 22, 2002, at his home. He was born July 31, 1973 in Idaho Falls to Paul Eugine Empey and Elva Jeaniene Borg Empey. He attended schools in the area, graduating from Hillcrest High School with a standing ovation. He worked at the Development Workshop and also for Empey’s Truck & Auto Repair. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed birds, Star Trek, reading dictionaries, encyclopedias, and other books. He enjoyed bowling and participating in other activities with the Joshua Smith Center. He had 8 nieces and 12 nephews. Kevin loved to make people laugh. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday , January 25, 2002, at the Ammon LDS 10th Ward, 4375 East Sunnyside Road, with his brother, John Empey, a member of the Ammon LDS 10th Ward Bishopric, officiating. The family will meet with friends on Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
