Baird - 08/21/2001 KEVIN BAIRD IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Kevin Michael Baird, 22, of Idaho Falls, died August 20, 2001 from injuries sustained in a car accident on the Swan Valley Highway. He was born November 7, 1978 in Pocatello, Idaho, to Gene Conan Baird and Kathleen Mollerup Baird. He attended schools in Idaho Falls at Ethel Boyes and Templeview Elementary School, Eagle Rock Jr. High School, Skyline High School, and attended one year at Treasure Valley Community College. He was an outstanding athlete in basketball, winning the Gatorade Idaho Player of the Year Award for 1996-97. He was working as a landscaper in Jackson. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held the office of Priest. He was interested in and enjoyed all sports and was a loyal friend. (Carolyn) Baird, Pocatello, ID He was preceded in death by his brother, Chase Baird, a grandfather, Keith G. Mollerup, and a grandmother, Lola Mangum Baird. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., August 24, 2001, at the Idaho Falls LDS Old Butte Ward (2345 West 17th South, Idaho Falls), with Bishop Robert McCulloch officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
