Kent Ward - 05/17/2002 Kent Ward - 05/17/2002 KENT WARD iDAHO FALLS, ID -- Charles Kent Ward, 77, of Idaho Falls, died May 16, 2002. He was born September 16, 1924 at Iona to Charles D. Ward and Vivian Hansen Ward. He grew up and attended school in Iona. He served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corp during World War II. On June 3, 1946 he married Faye Chaffin. During his life, he farmed and owned and managed Kent's Sales and Service, a lawn and garden equipment company. He loved to work, was an avid gardener, and had a talent for inventing new gadgets and tools. He was a man who valued family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, Stephanie Bonney, Melissa Roberts, Evan Bates, and great grandchild, Isabelle Roberts. Surviving are:Wife: Faye Ward, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Terese W. Bonney, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Curtiss K. Ward, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Ann (Gerry) Bates, Idaho Falls, IDSister: Sharon (Merv) Misner, Olympia, WASister: Diane Ward, Greenbelt, Ireland 3 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bryce Ward. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2002, at Wood Chapel of the Pines. No visitation is scheduled, however a family prayer will be held prior to the service. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team. Terry,I'm sorry your Father passed away.I didn't know you lived in IF.
