Kent Perrenoud

Kent Perrenoud, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 13, 2022, from a sudden heart condition at Eastern Idaho Medical Center.

Kent was born July 15, 1940, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Floyd Richard Perrenoud and Leatha Marie Sommer Perrenoud. He grew up and attended schools in Island Park and Idaho Falls, Idaho, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He received his degree from Links Business School.

Kent and Richard Edward Oram were loving partners for over fifty years and were able to marry on October 22, 2014, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Kent and Richard made their home in Idaho Falls, where Kent worked as an accountant at Argonne National Laboratories for over 20 years.

He was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing cards, travel, reading, computers, and especially loved animals. Kent believed a beer went well with any activity.

Kent is survived by his husband, Richard Oram of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Michelle Perrenoud (Lori Weltz, deceased) of Idaho Falls, ID; four grandsons and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. Burial will be in the Plano Cemetery at a later date.
