KENT M. GRANT IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Kent Murtaugh Grant, 62, of Idaho Falls, died September 12, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born June 13, 1943, in Idaho Falls, to Edward Murtaugh Grant and Roma Staples Grant. He attended Osgood Elementary School. He worked as a farmer and a truck driver. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed collecting coins, exploring ghost towns and historical sites, horses, farming and ranching. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, Elizabeth Gac, Cassandra, Allyson and Dakota Boyd, and Candace and Cierra Martin. Surviving are: Wife and life companion: Marilyn Grant, Idaho Falls Daughter: Lecia (Billy) Boyd, Idaho Falls Stepson: Monty Martin, Eagle Point, OR Mother: Roma Grant, Ririe, ID Brother: Rodney (Barbara) Grant, Wapello, ID Brother: Roy Grant, Ririe, ID Brother: David (Bonnie) Grant, Ririe, ID Sister: Amber Jackson, Idaho Falls, ID 6 Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Murtaugh Grant and a sister, Carol Grant. Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2005, at the Idaho Falls LDS 2nd Ward (885 S. Boulevard) with Bishop Bowen Huntsman officiating. The family will visit with friends at Friday beginning at 1 p.m. (following the Memorial Services), at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2005, at Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
