Kent Foster

Robert Kent Foster, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 9, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Kent was born February 26, 1951 in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Marvin Ray Foster and Ella Lurene Rivers Foster. He grew up and attended area schools, graduating from E.J. Campbell High School. Kent joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a Staff Sergeant. He lived in Anchorage, Alaska, San Antonio, Texas, and Albuquerque, New Mexico, while serving in the Air Force. He later moved to Idaho Falls, where he retired from CWI. On August 11, 1972, he married the love of his life, LaDonna Roshell Gardner, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Together they raised three children. He enjoyed motorcycles, custom cars and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Kent also loved serving his community in various capacities. Survivors include his wife of 40 years: LaDonna Foster of Idaho Falls, ID, Daughter: April Foster of Austin, TX Son: Shawn (Abby) Foster of Pasco, WA Daughter: Crystal (Shayne) Jones of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Byron (Sheilana) Foster of Austin, TX Niece: Misty Foster Nephew: Brandon Foster Grandchildren: Jazmyn, Shantell, Jaylin, Shawn Parker, Kaia, and Brailyn. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Idaho Falls Calvary Chapel, 4250 South 25th East, with Pastor Gordon Boyle officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Ruth House, 3130 South Yellowstone Highway, Idaho Falls, ID 83401

Wednesday August 15, 2012 , 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel

The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and Wednesday 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches, TX.
