Kent Lowe Allen

Kent Allen, 75, passed away August 7, 2023, after a courageous battle with various health complications.

Kent was born August 1, 1948, in Idaho Falls, to Charles Douglas Allen and Nola Lowe. After graduating from Idaho Falls High School, he joined and served in the United States Army. Kent returned and spent 21 years driving for and retiring from UPS.

Throughout the years, Kent spent time taking up many different hobbies including softball, basketball and pool; he also thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors camping, fishing, and especially riding his motorcycles. Eventually Kent discovered golf, becoming an avid and phenomenal golfer. His declining health ultimately took his ability to play, that's when his love for the game transitioned to teaching others and giving pointers to help them improve.

Kent spent 51 wonderful years married to his loving wife and soulmate, Cathy. They welcomed their son Jason, who Kent truly loved spending time fishing, golfing and just simply talking about life with. They later welcomed their daughter Angela, who Kent is finally reunited with. Throughout the years, the family also included many dogs, most recently loving and leaving behind Daisy and Katie.

Kent is survived by is wife, Cathy Allen of Ammon, Idaho; his son, Jason (Connie) Allen of Rigby, Idaho; brother, Randy (DiAnn) Allen; brother-in-law, Joe Tague; grandkids; great grandkids; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Angela; both of his parents; one brother; and three sisters. Though we have much sorrow by his passing, we know it was a joyous reunion on the other side.
