Kenneth Albert Park

Kenneth Albert Park, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 22, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Ken was born October 4, 1938, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to David Albert Park and Delila Emma Mattson Park. He grew up and attended schools in Ririe, Idaho, and graduated from Ririe High School. After high school, he completed a plumbing apprenticeship. He worked as a plumber and pipefitter until his retirement in 2000.

On December 22, 1964, he married Alice Louise Coles in Pocatello, Idaho. Ken and Alice made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where they raised their two daughters.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the Iona Posse. He enjoyed camping with his family, riding horses, hunting, and fishing. He loved riding four wheelers and motorcycles with his children and grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alice Park of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Rae Ann (Clint) Steltzer of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Nicki Bowden of Shelley, ID; grandchildren, Ben and Jessica Bowden, Bart and Madi Steltzer, Duel and Katie Bowden, Taylor and Spencer Bowman, and Jaycee and Matthew Landon; and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother; brother, David Gary Park; sister, Bernice Emma Hill; son, Brett Kenneth Park; and daughter, Mechele Lorraine Park.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery, 12463 East 129 North.
