Kenneth Thornton Morris

Kenneth Thornton Morris, 78, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away November 3, 2022.

Ken was born May 12, 1944, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Melvin Ebenezer Morris and Sarah Rebecca Morris. He grew up and attended schools in Osgood, Idaho, and graduated from Shelley High School. He also attended Ricks College and Idaho State University.

On September 5, 1969, he married Sandra Morris in Santa Monica, California. Here, Ken and Sandy made their home and started a family. Ken worked as a salesperson for many years at Montgomery Wards and Sears. Later in life, they retired to Idaho Falls, Idaho.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed golfing, anything to do with boats, camping, watching football, and socializing on Facebook.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Morris of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Stacy (Trenton) Thompson; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin Morris, William Morris, Jerry Morris, Eugene Morris, Alan Morris; sister, Ila Rae Wilson; father, Melvin Ebenezer Morris; and mother, Sarah Rebecca Thornton.

Services will be held privately with family.
