Kenneth Dean Bedwell

Kenneth Dean Bedwell, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 24, 2023, at Heritage Park Healthcare & Rehab in Roy, Utah.

Kenneth was born May 22, 1943, in Benewah County, Idaho, to Willard Arnold Bedwell and Delores Gertrude Taylor Bedwell. He moved to Monteview, Idaho, as a child.

He served in the United States Navy from 1965-1969 during the Vietnam War and did two tours.

He enjoyed motorcycling, hunting, and camping.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenneth (Julie) Bedwell of Harker Heights, TX; daughter, Tracie (Bob Brannon) Bedwell of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Pauline (Sherman) Jensen of Denver, CO; sister, Julie (Carl) Edelmayer of Rigby, ID; and 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Arnold and Delores Bedwell; brothers, George Bedwell, David Bedwell, Gene Bedwell, Gary Bedwell, and Dale Bedwell.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road in Ammon, Idaho. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by the Jefferson County Veterans Memorial Team and the Navy Military Honor Guard.
