Kendall Covert

Kendall Fugate Covert, 50, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 8, 2016, at her home. Kendall was born October 3, 1965, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Sidney Roy Fugate and Frances Calderwood Fugate. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School.

On April 10, 2015, she married Scott Spencer Covert in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Kendall and Scott made their home in Idaho Falls where Kendall worked as a manager at Dad’s Barbeque. She was also a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed camping, motorcycling, and her dog, Lacey. She was always in pursuit of "the treasure" at yard sales and thrift stores. Kendall is survived by her loving husband, Scott Covert of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Lindsie Marie Tomita of Rigby, ID; stepson, Branden Covert of Idaho Falls, ID; stepdaughter, Jessica Danielson of Ririe, ID; father, Sidney Fugate of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Scott Fugate of Herriman, UT; sister, Jeni Baker of Idaho Falls, ID; grandson, Beckham Tomita of Rigby, ID; granddaughter, Raylee Tomita of Rigby, ID; step-grandsons, Adrian Danielson and Cannon Jaramillo; and step-granddaughters, Kaliann Danielson and Ausha Covert. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Fugate. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, with Scott Fugate officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
