Ken Korstjens

Kenneth Edward Korstjens, 74, of Ammon, passed away June 9, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Ken was born March 25, 1952, in Los Angeles, California, to Dr. Keith Allen Korstjens and Mary Jeanette Calvin Korstjens. He grew up and attended schools in Pomona, California, and graduated from Pomona High School. He also attended Chaffey Junior College in California.

On June 11, 1976, he married Kimberly Webb McKown in Claremont, California. Ken and Kim made their home in Ontario, California, where Ken worked as a Customer Service Technician for the Southern California Gas Company.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pomona, California. He enjoyed model railroads, drawing, portraits, and gardening.

Ken is survived by his wife, Kim Korstjens of Ammon, ID; daughter, Kerri Anne Korstjens of Ammon, ID; son, Klayton Anthony Korstjens of Nampa, ID; sister, Karen (Scott) Jacobs of Goleta, CA; and 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
