Kelsey Moser

Kelsey Craig Moser, 47, passed away on the early morning of Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Kelsey was the first born son to Craig and Sandra Moser on April 24, 1977. Kelsey was the oldest of five siblings. He has three brothers and two sisters.

Kelsey grew up in Moreland, Idaho, and attended schools in the Snake River School district. Growing up, Kelsey developed a love for his Grandpa Wride’s cabin in Challis, Idaho, where his grandpa taught him a love of camping, hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors.

He was known for being a great soccer player and for having the fastest feet on the field. He had the opportunity to work at scout camp at Palisades and he loved it.

Kelsey married Jennifer VonderLeith in 1998. They had four children together and later divorced.

He loved spending time with his children as they spent many hours hunting, camping, and delivering bear bait to get his bear. He succeeded a few times in getting his bear. During the Fall, he and his children spent many hours together hunting their trophy deer.

Kelsey was one of the biggest pranksters. He loved playing jokes on everyone, no matter who you were. April 1st was one of the days he looked forward to. But we, as his family, caught on to some of the April Fools jokes. He was always a happy-go-lucky person full of life and loved to laugh.

Kelsey is survived by his children, Beau Moser, Jazzmin Moser (Rialey), Alexus Moser (Skyler), and Kayley Moser (Hunter); seven grandchildren; his siblings, Kendell Moser (Kacia), Kurtis Moser (Megan), Kreslie Houston (Benjamin), Kash Moser, and Krachele Moser; and several nieces and nephews who all dearly love him and will miss him.

The family would like to thank the doctors and all the nursing staff for their expert service in the care of Kelsey.

Private family services will be held.
