Kelly Elizabeth Seymore Babb, 64, passed away on October 19, 2026.
It is with a broken heart, overflowing with love that we remember Kelly; a beloved wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend.
Born in Mesa, Arizona, on April 9, 1962, Kelly grew up as a child raised in a loving home. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of the gospel and loved seeing the Temple, and partaking in the spiritual ordinances within those sacred walls.
In spite of being a military child and moving frequently, Kelly was able to meet her eternal companion, Esker Babb in the summer of 1989, in Pensacola, Florida, at a young single-adult family home evening. They married for time and all eternity just six months later in the Mesa, Arizona, temple on December 27, 1989. The then nanny, and pizza delivery boy, were set on their path to begin their chapter with their children, Ben, Matt, Zac and Krystyn.
Kelly knew Esker's heart in a way no one else ever could. The absence she leaves is immeasurable, but so is the love that she gave. She often spoke fondly of Esker as her other half and could never picture life without him. Esker will carry that love into every tomorrow, holding close all that they shared.
Kelly was a very giving and loving person. She always put her friends and families happiness first. She loved to crochet, read and write and loved to share stories. Those stories will be forever cherished by all who received them. She loved Disney characters and found comfort in Disney movies and songs.
Kelly absolutely loved being a mother. Making her children's birthdays and Christmases very over the top was a passion of hers, despite the push back from her husbands checkbook. Making her kids smile was simply more important than the bills. While she loved being a mother, she often said that being a Nana was even more special. Being a Nana to her grandchildren Valori, Vander, Varek, and Venture was the joy that kept her pushing through many illnesses over the last few years.
We thank you for the life we shared, for the love you gave, and for the memories we will cherish forever. We will hold your smile and laughs with us always. Those you leave behind will continue the traditions you held so dearly and will continue to spread the love and light that radiated from you.
Until we meet again, "Love lives on inside our hearts and always will."
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2026, at the Coltman Ward, 12448 North 5th East, with Bishop Bowen Jorgensen officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior at the church. Burial will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery.
