Keith L. Johnson - 02/22/2002 Keith L. Johnson - 02/22/2002 KEITH L. JOHNSON TUCSON, AZ -- Keith LaMar Johnson, 75, of Tucson, Arizona, died February 16, 2002, at St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson. He was born on May 4, 1926 in Shelley to Leslie Ivan Johnson and Ruby Kelley Johnson. He attended schools in the area. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. On December 21, 1949, he married Elaine Dolores Markeson in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for various aviation companies. He resided in Idaho Falls for 26 years, but also lived in Utah, California, Texas, and Arizona. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his family and visiting the cabin he built in Island Park; because of his skill in woodworking he was able to build all the furniture for it. Surviving are:Wife: Elaine Johnson, Tucson, AZSon: Myron (Mercedes) Johnson, Phoenix, AZSon: Lyndon (Pauline) Johnson, Salt Lake City, UTDaughter: Janell Brandon, Tucson, AZDaughter: Karen Johnson, Tucson, AZBrother: Cleon (Lorna) Johnson, Idaho Falls, IDSister: MarJean Briggs, Burley, IDSister: Ann (Max) Sievers, Idaho Falls, ID 2 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2002, at Wood Funeral Home, with Cory E. Brower officiating. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
