Keith Hansen

Keith Darwin Hansen, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 9, 2024, at his home.

Keith was born July 24, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ervin Francis Hansen and Zenetta Roberts Hansen. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was married to Carolyn Aicher in Idaho Falls. Keith and Carolyn made their home in Idaho Falls where Keith worked in potato processing for Idahoan Foods.

Keith served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the United States Army. He earned two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star, along with other military awards.

Keith is survived by his daughters, Jodi and Sabrina; sons, Chris and Ervin; brother, Vernal (Margaret) Hansen; sister, Nelda (Keith) Gardner of Idaho Falls, ID; and sister, Ervetta (Doyle) Herndon of Murray, UT.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Aicher Hansen; parents; brother, Laren Hansen; sister, Joyce Rossi; and sister, Darlene Hansen.

Military Honors will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
