Kaylob M. Rice

Kaylob Micheal Rice, 24, of Idaho Falls, suddenly passed away January 6, 2025, in California.

Kaylob was born November 10, 2000, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Anna Maria Rice-Jones and Guy Groth. He grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Temple View Elementary, Sandcreek Junior High, Hillcrest High School, and graduated from Saint Anthony.

He enjoyed working on his cars, scooting on his scooter, hanging out with friends, driving in the mountains, fishing, and animals. He loved being at the ranch, spending time with his family. He would help anyone out even if it put him out!

Kaylob is survived by his mother, Anna Maria (Heather Austin) Rice-Jones of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Guy (Diana) Groth, Sr. of CA; other mamma, Brook (Shenae Huntsman) Gingerich of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Amanda (Trenton Cannon) Rice of Blackfoot, ID; brother, Guy (Kaylye Aughenbaugh) Groth, Jr. of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, James Groth of Rigby, ID; sister, Alyssa (Davian) Espinosa of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Madison Groth of Rigby, ID; brother, Joshua Gingerich of CA; and grandmother, Marilyn Place of Blackfoot, ID.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Anna Marie French; grandmother, Michelle Sue Rice; and grandfather, Ronald Groth.

Private family service will be held at a later date.
