Kay Griffith

Kay Griffith, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 23, 2010 at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls from complications of a stroke. Kay was born October 12, 1927 in Richton, Mississippi, to John Malone and Lenner Bradley Malone. She spent her younger years living in Mississippi, California, and Washington before moving to Idaho in 1979. She worked in a cannery and in the food service industry. Kay was a member of the Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing, and crocheting. Survivors include: Daughter: Pam A. Miller (Danny Drips), Idaho Falls, ID Son: Danny (Evie) Boyd, Senatobia, MS Son: James (Kristi) Tadlock, Eugene, OR Son: Shawn G. Griffiths, Idaho Falls ID Daughter: Tara Michele (Gavin) Wells, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Roy Huston Malone, Rochester, NY 14 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren Kay was preceded in death by her son, George L. Miller; her parents; sisters, Elsie Dunham, Ethel Malone, Merilee White; and brothers, Agnue Malone, Ray Malone and David Malone. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
