Kathy Zamora

Kathy Jean Zamora, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 21, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Kathy was born July 18, 1959, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Seabert Neilson and Pearl Kettle Waters. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Hawthorne Elementary, O.E. Bell, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She went on to earn her CNA from Boise State University. She was a loving mother to her two children, Randy and Dawn. She made her home in Idaho Falls where she worked as a laborer for Idahoan Foods in Lewisville, Idaho. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Watching scary movies with her grandson was a favorite activity. Kathy is survived by her son, Randy (Tanya) Mitchell of Mt. Home, ID; daughter, Dawn (Nicole Treas) Mitchell of Idaho Falls; mother, Pearl Waters of Idaho Falls; long-time companion, Tony Henman of Idaho Falls; brother, Val (Anna) Anderson of Idaho Falls; brother, Randy (Barbra) Waters of Goldbeach, OR; brother, Steve Waters of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Marilyn Lundquist of Basalt, ID; sister, Sherry Cress of Idaho Falls; sister, Debbie Christensen of Idaho Falls; brother, Jody Waters of Idaho Falls; sister, Shelly Waters of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Tammy Hill of Rigby, ID; sister, Debra Aranda of Greeley, CO; 5 grandchildren, Joseph, Robert, Zackaria, Caitlyn-Isiss, and Hayley. She was preceded in death by her father and step-father, Larry Waters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
