Click Here To View funeral services live Click Here To View Memorial Video Kathrine Anita Nick was born January 13, 1944, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Weston and Rosalie Wadsworth. They lived in Blackfoot and Sterling until Kathy was nine, when the family moved to Monteview. She attended schools in Sterling, Terreton Elementary, and West Jefferson High School. She attended Ricks College in Rexburg, and earned her teaching degree. She taught second grade in Dubois for four years and six years at Monteview Christian Church and School. In 1966 she married George Thomas Nick. The marriage lasted seven years and they had two boys together. For 40 years Kathy attended Mud Lake Community Church where she taught Sunday School, children’s church, Vacation Bible School, Bible Club, AWANA, and ladies’ Bible study. Kathy enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting, knitting, and studying the Word of God. Kathy passed away at her home July 24, 2014, after a brief battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Weston and Rosalie Wadsworth. She is survived by her sons, Bill Nick of North Pole, Alaska, Dave (Jessica) Nick of Dillon, Montana; her two grandchildren, Rosy and Royce Nick; three brothers, Wade (April) Wadsworth of Lingle, Wyoming, Dean (Yvonne) Wadsworth of Monteview, Idaho, and Wesley Wadsworth of Monteview. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 2, at Mud Lake Community Church, 1122 E. 1500 N. in Terreton. The family will visit with friends and family from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., and from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Saturday prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the West Jefferson Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to OneSource Hospice of Rexburg, American Bible Society, or Mud Lake Community Church.

Saturday August 2, 2014 , 10:00 am at Mud Lake Community Church

The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday night, and Saturday from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in West Jefferson Cemetery.
