Click Here To View Memorial Video Kathleen Hebdon Shepherd, 70, of Iona, Idaho, passed away August 15, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes. Kathleen was born March 27, 1943 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Melvin Joseph Hebdon and Florence May Egbert Hebdon. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On December 3, 1960, she married Buddy C. Shepherd in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Kathleen and Bud made their home in Iona. Bud passed away January 5, 2013. Kathleen worked in food service for Idaho Falls School District #93, and was also a Food Services Supervisor for Idaho Falls School District #91. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed baking, spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, hunting and shopping . Kathleen is survived by Daughter: Tamala (Joe) Shaw of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter: Kathy (Mark) Reed of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter: Jennifer Hunter of Idaho Falls, ID; Sister: Florence (Kay) Davis of Ammon, ID; Sister: Barbara (George) Wewers of Boise, ID; Sister: Bernetta (John) Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bud, sisters, Ramona Hansen, Meldine Whitmill, and Peggy Ogle, and one granddaughter, Brittany Hembree. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Bishop Hal R. Schofield officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
