Kathleen Mary (Ebert) Robinson

Kathleen Mary Ebert Robinson, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 2, 2024, at her home. Kathleen was born June 1, 1962, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Charles Fredrick Ebert and Elizabeth Jane Kelly Ebert. She grew up and attended schools in Decatur, Georgia. On January 11, 1985, she married Mark James Robinson in Newport News, Virginia. Kathleen and Mark made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Kathleen started Gem State Tub Repair in 1991. She repaired and resurfaced bathtubs throughout southeast Idaho for more than 30 years and was known as “The Tub Lady.” She was a member of Christ Community Church where she actively volunteered. She enjoyed playing hockey and when she couldn’t play any longer, she watched the Spud Kings and her grandchildren play. She also enjoyed Cowboy Shooting and spending time with her family. Kathleen is survived by her son, Robert Charles (Heidi) Sanderson of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Vernon Michael (Kylie) Robinson of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Jessica Lyn (Jared) Martin of Mooreland, ID; daughter, Rebecca (Chad) McDermott of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Mark Adam Robinson of Prescott Valley, AZ; sister, Mary Ann Klimek of GA; sister, Shannon Sanderson of GA; brother, James Ebert of TX; brother, Paul Ebert of GA; sister, Beth Ostgaard of NC; sister, Brigid Cox of AZ; brother, Charles Ebert of FL; sister, Margaret Morris of AZ; brother, Kelly Ebert of GA; sister, Trisha Butchee of TX; brother, John Ebert of GA; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark James Robinson; parents, Charles and Elizabeth Ebert; and brother, Christopher Ebert. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. March 16, 2024, at Christ Community Church, 5742 S. 5th W., in Idaho Falls.
