Kathleen Anderson

Kathleen Joyce Anderson, 75, formerly of Challis, passed away April 14, 2015, at her home in Rigby. She was under the care of One Source Hospice. Kathy was born May 19, 1939, in Topeka, Kansas, to Marteal Hubert Mouton and Thelma Elizabeth Fuller Mouton. She grew up and attended schools in Vallejo, California, and graduated from Vallejo High School. She also attended Sacramento State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree. On May 6, 1983, she married William Arthur Anderson in Reno, Nevada. Kathy and Bill made their home in Challis, Idaho, where Kathleen worked as a Registered Nurse for Home Health & Hospice. She was a member of the Challis Quilt Club. She loved to make quilts, and enjoyed horses and gardening. Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Bill Anderson of Rigby, ID; daughter, Teri (Mark) Thompson of West Monroe, LA; son, Tony (Thuy) Burquez of Santa Clara, CA; son, Greg (Karen) Anderson of Vallejo, CA; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, www.americancancerfund.org. No services are planned.
