Katherine "Kay Ingram" Ingram

Katherine "Kay" Lyn Ingram, 61, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away July 15, 2016, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family and Hospice of Eastern Idaho. Kay was born January 15, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Eugene Lorin Bush and Anne Marie Eggleson Bush. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and printmaking. She was at the top of her class and won many juried art shows. She attended the University of Idaho for one year. On October 2, 1976, Kay married David Arthur Remien. From this union they were blessed with a son, Arthur Bear Remien. David and Katherine were later divorced. On February 2, 1985, she married Michael James Ingram in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Kay and Michael made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Katherine worked as an Office Manager in health care. Kay was a member of the Catholic Church. She was a brilliant artist and never stopped doing art. She was the president of the local chapter of the National Audubon Society and was active in their local and regional affairs. Kay is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Michael Ingram; son, Arthur Bear (Ariane) Remien of Anchorage, AK; brother, Ronald Bush of Boise, ID; sister, Carolyn (Bill) Vasoli of Ambler, PA; sister, Elizabeth (Paul) Nakayama of Waimea, HI; sister, Joan Harrie of Boise, ID; brother, John (Katie) Bush of Boise, ID; and a sister, Emily (Mark) Geary of Boise, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandparents, Edith and Asa Eggleson and Grace and A.H. Bush. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 1695 East 17th Street, Idaho Falls, with Father Raul Covarrubias officiating. A rosary will be held on Monday at 6 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Saint John Paul II Parish, 145 - 9th Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83404.
