Karen and family,
There are no words to take away the pain of losing a loved one especially mothers child. I know that since my mom and Bill divorced I haven't seen the Empey side as much but you have always been considered my family.
Carrie was a sweetheart and I had the pleasure to work with her while she was a CNA at the Idaho Falls Care Center. She was a very loving soul that gave pleasure to all that got to know her. May God bless you and your family in this saddened time. Love Roni

I cannot comprehend the loss of a child or the void it must leave. I do, however, understand loss and grief and know that the Lord did suffer and take upon Himself and did decend below ALL things that He may comfort you and all that mourn the loss of Karrie, from this life. Through Him, we shall see her again and she will live again. "Those that believeth in me, though they were dead, yet shall they live."

Karen, as I saw this tonight I just could hardly believe what I was seeing.
I don't know what has happened here, and I am sooo sorry to hear this. Karrie was always so sweet and always had a smile for everyone. I have not seen Karrie for quite awhile, but I have thought of her and you often. It is sad how this crazy busy life takes us away from people we care about and we lose track of them until a wedding or a funeral brings us back again. Oh how I wish this was not the case with this lovely young woman. Karrie had such a beautiful spirit (like her mother) - she was special!
I know my son Gary Atwood will be saddened by this too.
Take care & if you need anything, you have my email, let me know. With my deepest regrets and love,
Judy Shurtliff

Our deepest condolences from the Felix and the Eilander family. I cannot say, and will not say That she is dead,-She is just away! With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand, She has wandered into an unknown land, And left us dreaming how very fair It needs must be, since she lingers there. And you-O you, who the wildest yearn For the old-time step and the glad return, Think of her faring on, as dear In the love of there as the love of Here; Think of her still as the same, I say: She is not dead,-She is just away!

I realize that your family does not know me. I have had the pleasure of working with Lisa Hayward as my customer service representative for the past several months and have gotten to know you through her. I didn't know Karrie personally, but if she was anything like Lisa, she was truly full of life and danced to her own music; thus she must have been a wonderful person. Please know how very sorry I am for your loss and accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.
The Lord does indeed hold us in the palm of his hand and there in lies peace.
God Bless,
Dan Nuckols
