Karl Alex Quigg, 68, of Ammon, passed away January 9, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes.
Karl was born November 13, 1944, in Shelley, Idaho, to Erskine Quigg and Donna Olaveson Quigg. He grew up on a farm in the Shelley area and graduated from Shelley High School. He attended Ricks College in Rexburg and earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Idaho State University in Pocatello.
On January 28, 1966, he married Roselyn Duce in Shelley, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple August 30, 1967. Together they had five children, Curtis, Karisa, Kenneth, Kristopher, and Kendra. They moved to Ammon 45 years ago, where they raised their family and continue to reside. Karl worked as a cost accountant at the INL, martial arts instructor, and volunteered on the Kelly Canyon Ski Patrol.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served as a counselor in the Sunday School Presidency, as a Scout Leader, Sunday School teacher, and librarian, and was active in the High Priest Group. Karl enjoyed skiing, hunting, fishing, karate, and wood working.

Brother, Allen Dale (Valiea) Quigg of Menan, ID,
Brother, Gary (Terry) Quigg of Lehi, UT;
Sister, Annette (Jerry) Jackson of Albuquerque, NM,
Sister, Gaye (Frank) Stuart of St. George, UT;
7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Erskine and Donna Quigg, and a brother, Larry Quigg.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, both at Wood East Side. Burial will be in the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery.
