Karl Mark Butikofer - 12/19/2001 Karl Mark Butikofer - 12/19/2001 KARL MARK "K.B." BUTIKOFER IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Karl Mark Butikofer, 44, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died December 18, 2001, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born May 1, 1957 in Idaho Falls to Merrill Conway Butikofer and Donna Ruth Ricks Butikofer. He attended Fairview Elementary, Bonneville High School and Eastern Idaho Technical College in Idaho Falls. He married LeAnn Longhurst in Blackfoot, Idaho. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held the office of an Elder. He worked for School District #91 as a Custodian and also farmed and raised cattle. His children were most important to him, and he enjoyed football, was involved in coaching his son's sports and watching all sports, loved riding snowmobiles and he enjoyed being a part of the BMX program. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2001, at the Coltman LDS 2nd Ward (on the Lewisville Highway), with Bishop David Keck officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, and for one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Fox Hollow Elementary Memorial Fund in the name of Karl Butikofer c/o Loa Klute, Principal, 2365 Genevieve Way, Idaho Falls, 83402.
