Karl Beck

Karl Andrew Beck, 42, of Ucon, Idaho, passed away January 30, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Karl was born September 27, 1973, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Stephen Allen Beck and Annette Frandsen Beck. He grew up in Ucon and attended elementary school there. He later attended Bonneville High School and graduated from Fairview High School. Karl worked in landscaping and construction. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed long Harley rides, NASCAR racing, golfing with friends, football, camping trips with friends and family, hunting in the outdoors, and collecting personal "treasures." Karl is survived by his mother, Annette Torres of Ucon, ID; brother, David (Christine) Beck of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Bonnie Beck of Ucon, ID; sister, Kathy (Jay) Dye of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Philip (Julie) Beck of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Kent (Ruth) Beck of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Jason (Jessica) Beck of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Ryan (Jenn) Beck of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Angie (Jared) LeBlanc of Ucon, ID; sister, Perla (John) Scott of Idaho Falls, ID. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016, at the Ucon LDS Stake Center, 2967 East 105 North, with Bishop Jay Neeser officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery.
