Karen K Swearingen, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 20, 2015.
Karen was born September 28, 1956, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Blaine Ellis Ashment and Mary Irene Ashment. She grew up and attended schools in Rigby, Idaho, and graduated from Rigby High School.
On September 20, 1974, she married Micheal Lyndon Swearingen in Rigby, Idaho. To this union were born 4 children, Crystal, Kelly, Curtise, and Kandi. Karen and Micheal made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Karen worked for Good Samaritan, and was a home health nurse. The couple later divorced.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved telling stories about life experiences. She also enjoyed watching old western movies, mysteries and horror movies. She loved painting and reading. She was a very good person. She would help anyone and was always there when you needed her. She will be greatly missed by everyone she knew. She was a very loveable person.

nephew, Kellen Dale of Idaho Falls, ID,
9 grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Terry Evans.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2015 at the LDS Church on Sunnyside and Holmes.
