For Jim, Cole and Heather,
I heard the news today from a co-worker when I first got to work. I am in shock and very sad. Karen worked with me for about 2yrs. at Skywest. She taught me a lot, she was good at ticketing. Everyone here at Skywest that worked with her is really sad and sends their condolences. If there is anything we can do, let us know.
Sincerely, Carolyn Shearer

I am deeply saddened by this tragedy and I feel your pain. I want to focus on the positive memories of Karen. She helped me get through some tough years in my youth, and I will always be grateful for having her in my life. I remember her taking me all the way to lava hot springs in her cool Nissan Pulsar to just lay out and chill for the day. That really meant a lot to me. She is such a beautiful person, I truly believe the veil is thin and she is still close by, and she will always be in our hearts. I send you all my deepest sympathy and love and friendship.

My deepest and heartfelt sympathies go out to your family at this time.
Karen and I went to school together, and we were in the sane graduating class from Ben Lomond.
Karen was always well-liked in school. When girls my age were going though school and MIA in church, we all thought Karen had the greatest and most beautiful mother.
May the Lord bless you and comfort you in your time of grief.

I worked with Karen for the short time she was employed at the Museum of Idaho. She was such a beautiful woman and a pleasure to work with. We are all truly sorry for what has happened and send our deepest condolences to the Stuarts and the Knapps.
We would like to do something in honor of Karen's life and wondered if the family has any wishes? If there is nothing specific may we have an address where we can mail something.

Karen,
Her smile as warm as the sun.
What a joy to see her beautiful face.
She had love to share with everyone.
God gave her courage and a special grace.
I am sure it was not easy for her to go home,
For strong was her love for her children.
Her sorrow so heavy she left them not alone,
I am sure she counted on the love from their Dad,
To guide, encourage each step they take,
As the clouds pass by they will become,
A beautiful young lady, and a handsome lad.
The gift God leaves you are all the beautiful memories you had.
God Bless you both.

With caring thoughts we send this message to the family. Words alone aren't enough to ease the pain of losing someone so dear to you but may Almighty God’s promise comfort you (John 11:25) and help you cope with such a deep loss. Karen touched the lives of others and will be sadly missed.

I'm truly sorry for your loss and offer my thoughts and prayers as you grieve the loss of Karen. I attended high school with Karen and remember her as a vivacious, friendly and caring friend who was kind to all she met. Our school was a better place for her having been there.
