Karen Estelle (Sanborn) Williams

Karen Estelle Williams, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 26, 2023, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Karen was born December 6, 1943, in Redlands, California, to Thomas Sanborn and Hazel Estelle Cotner Sanborn. She grew up and attended schools in Redlands and graduated from Redlands High School. She also attended BYU-Provo.

On November 29, 1974, she married Jesse LeRoy Williams Jr. in Elko, Nevada. Karen and Jesse made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Karen worked as a administrative assistant at a potato processing plant.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed needlework of all kinds, genealogy, atv's, camping, and golfing.

Karen is survived by her loving husband, Jesse LeRoy Williams, Jr. of Idaho Falls, ID; 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and oldest daughter.

Funeral services will be held 11a.m.Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Highland Park Ward Chapel, 955 Memorial Drive, with Bishop Sumsion, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6-8 pm at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave, August 30, 2023, and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Fielding Cemetery.
