Karen Radford

Karen Peterslie Karg Radford, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 11, 2014, at her home, surrounded by family and love. Karen was born June 15, 1955, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Lyle M. Peterslie and Norma Holley. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1973. Karen was a loving and caring mother, sister, wife and friend and touched the lives of all she met. She married Kim Wesley Radford on July 23, 1976 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where they raised their two children, Stacey and Josh. She enjoyed photography, crafts, scrapbooking, travel and genealogy. She was an accomplished musician and loved playing guitar, mandolin, dulcimer and piano. She was passionate about history and enjoyed volunteering at the Museum of Idaho. Karen is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Kim Radford of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Stacey Radford of Idaho Falls, ID son, Josh Radford of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Lyle M. Peterslie of Eagle, ID; brother, Curt (Margie) Karg of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, Colin (Barbara) Peterslie of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, John (Pam) Peterslie of Rigby, ID, sister, Roxanne (Gordon) Boyle of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Susan (Bob) DiGrazia of Boise, ID, sister, Lisa (Doug) Kasefang of Eagle, ID, sister, Tina (Greg) Jones of Eagle, ID, sister, Bonnie (Doug) Marsing of Salmon, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and William Karg. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Susan G. A Gathering for family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue.
