Karen Spencer Cooper, 57, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away on July 15, 2013 at her home.
Karen was born October 24, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ned Spencer and Ona Buxton Spencer. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School, and attended Eastern Idaho Technical College (then called the “VoTech”), where she earned an Associate’s Degree as a Quality Inspector.
In April 1979, she married Clinton Dana Cooper in Reno, Nevada. Karen was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother and grandma. She enjoyed reading, skiing, collecting, playing bingo in Fort Hall, camping and riding horses. Karen also raised two wolves, which she loved and cherished. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her family.

Son: Clinton Dallas (Kristy) Cooper of Idaho Falls, Idaho;
Brother: Gerald (Debbie) Spencer of Idaho Falls, Idaho;
Brother: Charlie (Susan) Spencer of Idaho Falls, Idaho;
Brother: Larry (Cheryle) Spencer of Idaho Falls, Idaho;
Sister: Doris (Heinz) Carstens of Idaho Falls, Idaho;
Sister: Sharon (Gary) Thomas of Island Park, Idaho;
Good Friend: John Danielson
9 Grandchildren: Taylor, Trevor, Ona, Michael, Taneesha, McKenzie, Corey, Angela, and Tia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 19, 2013, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services at Wood Funeral Home Eastside, 963 S. Ammon Road, Idaho Falls.
