She was born December 19, 1934, at Wilson, Wyoming, to Robert Burns and Florence Fern Goe Burns. She married Roy James Staley February, 1952 in Idaho Falls. They made their home here, where she was a wife, mother, and homemaker for 50 years. She was a member of the Moose and Eagle Lodges. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and baking.
