Justin Joel Nelson

Justin Joel Nelson, 22, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 29, 2024, at his home.

Justin was born March 20, 2002, in St. George, Utah, to Clint L. Nelson and Lizzet Maria Cordona Moreno Nelson. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. He attended Falls Valley Elementary and graduated from Skyline High School.

Justin worked at Fred Meyer receiving many awards for his hard work and dedication to his job.

He enjoyed playing with his guitars, computer gaming, cooking, swimming, and listening to rock music. He loved his dogs, Sadie and Maggie, and his sister’s dogs, Eden and Yuki. He was Uncle Justin to them. He enjoyed gaming with his brother, Matthew, and watching UFC fights.

Justin is survived by his parents, Clint and Lizzet Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; his siblings, Christina, Matthew and Brayden all of Idaho Falls, ID; his dogs Sadie, and Maggie, Eden and Yuki; and his grandparents, June, Larry, and Clint Sr; and his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his cousin Jeremy and his grandmother Catalina Cordova Moreno.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services. Services will be broadcast live on this page.
