JULIUS STANGLIN, JR.
IRVING, TX - Julius Stanglin, Jr., 80, of Irving, passed
away Wednesday, March 16, 2005, from Alzheimer's and complications from
a stroke.
He was born May 13, 1924, in Dallas, Texas, to Julius
Stanglin, Sr. and Bennie Frances Riddle Stanglin. He graduated from Crozier
Tech High School in 1942.
During his adult career, he was employed by Western Electric,
Luscombe Airplane Corp. Ling-Vought, and was the owner of Mechtronic Products.
He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Lone Star Treaure
Hunter's Club, Dallas Camera Club, Luscombe Flying Club, First Men's Garden
Club of America, American Society of Tool and Machinery and American Society
of Value Engineering.

Son: Paul (Debra) Stanglin
Daughter: Matilda “Tillie” Gallegos Hamilton Gaddy
Daughter: Virginia “Virgie” Gallegos Lyons Jones
Daughter: Judy (Richard) Gallegos Gafford
Daughter: Christina “Christie” (Eddie) G. Rowe Hardin Williams
Daughter: Julie Stanglin (Floyd) Weeks
Brother: Maurice (Merrily) Stanglin
26 Grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren, two nephews, a great nephew,
a great niece, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents,
and a daughter, Dona Sue Townsend Terry.
Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March
23, 2005, at Fielding Memorial Park, South Yellowstone Highway. The family
will visit with friends from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, at Wood Funeral
Home (273 N. Ridge).
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
