JULIO HERNANDEZ IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Julio Daniel Hernandez, 86, of Idaho Falls, died July 24, 2008, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls . He was under the care of Creekside Hospice He was born December 11, 1921, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to Anacleto Hernandez and Juana Espinosa Hernandez. He was raised by an aunt and uncle after his mother died when he was 4 years old. He grew up and attended schools in Guatelmala City. On May 5, 1956, he married Feliza Sotomayor in Guatamala City, Guatamala. He worked as a mason and a road builder in Guatamala before moving to California in 1973. He worked as a skilled tile and stone mason. He also created and paved roads. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Julio enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, traveling across the country to visit his family, and traveling back to Guatemala to his family and friends. Survivors include: Wife: Feliza Sotomayor de Hernandez Son: Jorge Rolando Hernandez Rojas, Guatemala, Gu Son: Rony Adalberto Guardiola Sotomayor Daughter: Olga Marina Hernandez de Orchard Daughter: Ruth America Hernandez de Zarate' Son: Daniel Nephtaly Hernandez Sotomayor Son: Herbert Leonel Hernandez Sotomayor Son: Julio Moises Hernandez Sotomayor Brother: Roberto Hernandez 19 Grandchildren 29 Great Grandchildren . He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Graveside Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008, at Iona Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 1 to 2:15 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, prior to leaving for Iona Cemetery. ---------------------------------------------
