Julie Lynne Wood Campbell, 46, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 25, 2012, at her home of cancer. She was under the care of her family and Hospice Alliance. Julie was born December 31, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Dale L. Wood and Sharon A. Beedle Wood (now Krueger). She grew up in Watertown, Iowa, and attended Watertown Unified Schools and graduated from Watertown High School. She then attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Morrison College in Reno, Nevada, Keller University in Chicago, Illinois, and Capella University, where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Accounting. Following high school she entered the U. S. Marine Corps and served as a Lance Corporal. Julie married Steven A. Campbell on May 21, 2005, in Palmyra, New York. She worked as an accountant with Cancer Treatment Centers of America and later for the Boy Scouts of America. Julie has lived in Nevada, Illinois, New York, and moved to Idaho Falls with Steven two years ago. Julie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also a Red Cross volunteer. She loved bowling, country line dancing, knitting, and crocheting. Julie is survived by her Husband, Steven of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Amanda (Cameron) Nielsen of Rigby, ID; Mother, Sharon (Richard) Krueger of Portage, WI; Father, Dale Wood of WI; Brother, Michael D. Wood of Portage, WI; Sister, Brenda (Brian) Gatzke of Watertown, WI; and Two grandchildren, Shayla and Vance Nielsen. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Campbell, and her grandparents. Private Family Services will be held. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery. The family requests no flowers, please. In lieu of flowers, they suggests memorial donations to Kidney Cancer Warriors.
