JULIE M. ANDRUS
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Julie Marie Andrus, 41, of Ammon, one who loved unconditionally, passed away February 25, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 11, 1961 to Thomas Edgar Andrus and Garda Doman Andrus in the Rigby Maternity home in Rigby, Idaho. She grew up on the family farm in Ucon and lived there for 30 years. She has lived for the last 12 years at the New Beginnings Community Living Home in Ammon under the care of DeeOn Waters.
She began her education at age 3 attending St. Leon Opportunity School, the Development Workshop and the Joshua D. Smith Foundation for a total of 38 years.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints earning many awards in Young Women, Seminary and the Special Needs Primary. She enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics, where she won first place in the State Swimming event and multiple other awards. She received several awards from the Development Workshop, including Client of the Year in October, 1991. For the past 11 years, she worked as a dining room hostess at Wendy's on North Yellowstone.
She was talented in sign language, needlework, paint embroidery, writing and beautiful penmanship, piano, helping others, and enjoyed listening to uplifting music, reading scriptures, watching wholesome videos and she loved babies.

Andrus and a brother, David Doman Andrus.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday, March 1, 2003, at the Milo LDS 1st Ward, 12127 North 75 East, with Bishop Bart Davis officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood East Side Chapel (963 S. Ammon Road) and beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side
