Judy Gayle (Barkes) Walker

Judy Gayle Walker, 85, of Ammon, passed away January 13, 2023, at her home. She was under the care of Solace Hospice and her loving family.

Judy was born June 20, 1937, in Pasco, Washington, to Ralph Peairs Barkes and Bernice Berridge Barkes. She grew up and attended schools in Murtaugh, Idaho, and graduated from Murtaugh High School.

On January 1, 1970, she married Keith D. Walker in the Presbyterian Church in Idaho Falls. Judy and Keith made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Judy worked as an Accountant for the INEL.

She was a member of Calvary Chapel. She enjoyed spending time with her family and babysitting her grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her son, David W. (Stacey) Roberts of Idaho Falls, ID; grandchildren, Ginny, Anna, Joseph, Joshua, Jessica, and Nichole; and great grandchildren, Isaac, Addison, Ellie, Preslee, Cooper, and Gage.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith D. Walker, and her parents, Ralph and Bernice Barkes.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
